About Dr. Roxy
I’m an English and Farsi-speaking licensed psychologist specializing in helping women struggling with dating, relationship, and anxiety issues in the Greater Chicago area, the state of Illinois, and PSYPACT approved states.
My integrative therapy process focuses on your needs and goals. I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Instead, I incorporate various therapeutic strategies in our work together. This integrative approach allows me to tailor my treatment to best suit your unique needs.
My goal is to create a space where your authentic self is truly seen and met with acceptance. We’ll work together to help you learn new ways of thinking and being so you can live the life you desire.
As a licensed psychologist, I feel privileged and excited to work with you to create the relationships and life you desire.
Who I Serve
I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the building block of treatment and is an essential component of supporting you to achieve the change you desire. I find that I’m a good fit with women seeking a thoughtful, strengths-based, warm, and collaborative approach.

Treatment Approach
You deeply care about your intimate relationships. Yet, you may not feel as present or fulfilled by your daily activities, relationships, or work. As a result, you may struggle to feel fully connected with others and even yourself. Feelings of anxiety, insecurities, and past dating or relationship challenges can interfere with creating the healthy, new connections and life you desire. You know your life can be more satisfying.
Create meaningful relationships, feel confident in yourself, and learn to manage your anxiety with therapy that’s designed to meet your unique needs. Online therapy can help you work through past and current emotional and situational challenges to build fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.
During therapy, I’ll help you:
Identify what you want your life to look like
Understand how past adverse events and relationships are impacting you now
Identify and use your strengths
Strengthen your self-compassion
Change problematic patterns
Learn new coping strategies, ways of thinking, and behaviors that help you achieve your therapeutic goals
Enhance your quality of life
During therapy, we may use techniques and draw from frameworks such as:
Positive psychology
